Overview
NLE Reviewer: Complete ("the app", "we", or "us") is an independent, 100% offline-first study application for candidates preparing for the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE), for Android package com.nlecomplete.nle_brain_test. No account creation, cloud login, email registration, password, or third-party social login is required to access the full question banks, clinical tools, mock exams, or companion pets.
Information stored locally on your device
All core study information is stored strictly on your local device database, including:
- Selected nursing practice focus area across Nursing Practice I to V;
- Question answers, practice scores, bookmarks, flashcards, wrong-answer reviews, and spaced repetition schedules;
- Study streaks, activity logs, subject mastery scores, and user preferences;
- Partially completed practice and mock examination drafts (retaining question order, exact chosen answers, elapsed timer, and position for seamless offline recovery);
- Clinical calculator inputs, formula references, and custom practice configurations;
- Local Merit Coins, Food Points, equipped study companion pet, pet levels and unlocks, and locally cached Google Play cosmetic entitlements.
The developer does not operate a remote server that collects or receives your individual study history, test answers, or scores. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for the application to protect your privacy. You can permanently erase all local records at any time through Android Settings (Clear Storage) or by uninstalling the application.
Device permissions and optional features
The app requests device permissions only when you explicitly interact with a related feature:
- Notifications: Used only if you choose to enable the optional daily study reminder. The notification schedule is generated strictly by Android's local alarm system on your device.
- PDF generation & sharing: When creating a printable mock exam or sharing a practice result, a temporary local file is created and passed to the Android print service or share sheet you select. No data is sent to developer servers.
- Vibration & audio: Used solely to provide optional haptic and sound feedback for answer selection and pet companion interactions.
- Internet access: Used exclusively for optional rewarded advertisements, advertising privacy consent forms, and Google Play Billing verification.
Optional rewarded advertising
NLE Reviewer: Complete may offer optional rewarded advertising via the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Advertisements are completely optional and are never required to access questions, explanations, clinical tools, mock exams, or core review content.
Where legally required, the app presents Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form, allowing you to manage your advertising privacy choices. Google Mobile Ads may collect diagnostic information, device identifiers, and coarse location data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Study data, question responses, and test scores are never transmitted to advertising networks.
Optional Google Play purchases
The app may offer optional, one-time cosmetic packs or supporter tips through Google Play Billing. Payment transactions are processed entirely by Google Play. The developer does not receive or store credit card, debit card, or financial account details. Purchases unlock cosmetic items only and provide no examination, scoring, or unfair passing advantages.
Independent educational status
NLE Reviewer: Complete is an independently developed educational tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or connected to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing (PRBON), or any Philippine government agency. Practice scores and mock results are unofficial personal study signals only.
Data retention and deletion
Because all review progress and mock drafts reside exclusively on your physical device, you have complete control over your data. To delete all stored information, navigate to Android Settings → Apps → NLE Reviewer: Complete → Storage → Clear Data, or uninstall the app. For assistance, see the support page.
