Overview
CSE Reviewer Complete ("the app", "we", or "us") is an independent, offline-first Civil Service Examination study tool for Android package com.csecomplete.app. No login, password, invitation, or conventional account is required to use the reviewer, earn Merit Coins, or unlock study and cosmetic features.
Information stored on your device
The app stores question attempts, answers, scores, bookmarks, study schedules, activity, settings, reminder choices, Merit Coins, reward history, cosmetic ownership, pet progress, purchase entitlements, and blocked-leaderboard choices locally. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for the app. Clear app storage, use an available in-app reset, or uninstall to erase local data.
Optional public leaderboard
The app retrieves public ranking entries but never uploads your detailed study history automatically. When you accept the leaderboard rules and choose Update my ranking, Supabase creates a private anonymous identifier and receives your chosen public username, equipped app-provided pet, pet level, total correct answers, total answered questions, calculated accuracy, accepted rules version, and timestamps. No email address, password, or phone number is required.
Your username, pet, and ranking totals are visible to other leaderboard users. Do not submit your real name, contact information, offensive language, impersonation, or advertising. Usernames are unique without regard to capitalization and are validated before publication.
Reports, blocking, and moderation
Users may report a public username using a fixed reason and block that entry locally. Supabase stores the reporter's anonymous identifier, target identifier, reason, and timestamp for safety and moderation. Two reports from distinct anonymous users automatically hide an entry pending review. Self-reports and duplicate reports do not count. Reports are not publicly displayed.
The developer may restore, keep hidden, or remove an entry that violates or does not violate the community rules. Supabase may process IP address, device or network information, request timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Leaderboard retention and deletion
A ranking remains until it is updated, moderated, or deleted. Settings → Rankings & privacy → Delete my leaderboard identity removes the ranking, associated reports, and anonymous Supabase identity. This does not erase local study progress, Merit Coins, cosmetics, or Google Play purchases. If the app is unavailable, follow the request process on the support and data-deletion page.
Optional rewarded advertising
The Merit Market offers optional rewarded ads. Core study content remains usable without watching an ad. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP-derived approximate location, app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit.
Where required, the app uses Google's consent tools and presents a Manage advertising privacy control. Google and its advertising partners process information under Google's Privacy Policy.
Optional Google Play purchases
The app offers consumable support tips and permanent cosmetic bundles through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment credentials; the app does not receive complete card or bank-account details. It receives product, price, purchase-state, and purchase-token information needed to deliver, acknowledge, and restore purchases. Entitlements are stored locally.
Every cosmetic also retains an earnable Merit Coin or study-progression path. Purchases and tips do not provide questions, answers, scores, ranking advantages, or access to core study content.
Notifications, printing, sharing, and links
Daily reminders are disabled unless enabled and are scheduled locally. Creating a PDF or sharing an image passes a local file to the print or sharing app you choose. Opening a policy, official source, email address, or marketplace transfers the request to the selected external app, which handles it under its own policy.
Security and retention
Network traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Local records remain until reset, storage clearing, or uninstall. Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, Supabase, print services, and sharing applications retain information under their legal, security, and operational requirements. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Audience and independent status
The app is intended for adults preparing for civil service examinations and its Google Play target audience is 18 and over. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Civil Service Commission or any government entity. It does not guarantee examination results.
Changes and contact
This policy may change when the app, SDKs, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
